Okay, so I know it’s not October yet, but it’s just one more day and I’m impatient for all things Halloween so here we are. Also, in case you didn’t know (I just found out TODAY), but National Pizza Month is all of October. Didn’t I tell you guys how I love my fake holidays? Because I do. And pizza. I love pizza. So this is great! What an awesome way to start out a weekend filled with so much to do here in The City Beautiful!
For starters, tonight from 6-9pm is Jake’s Beer Festival at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal. If you have not been to this resort you will be in awe when you walk in! This event has several specialty craft beers along with food and entertainment all for $35 (and free parking). Now, if you’re looking for something a little more low-key, but still involving
food, head on over to Food Truck Fridays at the Artegon Marketplace that they have every week anytime between 5-9pm. Don’t forget, if you go in and spend more $20+ at the mall, take your receipt to guest services and you’ll receive $5 in Food Truck Bucks! In addition, Rhythms at the Roost is tonight from 6-10pm located in Altamonte Springs at the Eddie Rose Amphitheater. The gates open at 6pm, the show begins at 7pm and it’s free admission. This has live music that will take you back to the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, along with food, beverages, and merchandise booths you’re encouraged to check out! Starting a little bit later in the night, there are TWO shows going on at the SAK Comedy Club tonight. At 7:30pm (both Fri & Sat) there is the weekly show, Duel of Fools that is $14-$17, depending on if you’re a Florida resident or not. Then at 9:30pm there is the Brawl for All Finals that has the same pricing. Finally, the two Halloween nights put on by Universal and Magic Kingdom, Halloween Horror Nights from 6:30-2am and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from 7-12am.
